These owners are screened thoroughly and know how much care and attention that is need for an eclectus parrot. Rescue is only one aspect of the job—the rest falls to finding these birds a good home to live in.

A great way to get involved in Amazon rescue is to ask if you can volunteer for the organization. Being a volunteer means that you would be doing a variety of jobs for the organization including answering phones, preparing and sending out information material, and other types of jobs that will give the public a better awareness about the responsibility of having these birds as pets. They will appreciate the help and you can feel good about knowing you are part of a great program to keep these birds happy and safe.
